C:\Deb is a Linux system built on Debian 13 and Wine, focused on seamless support for Windows applications without giving up traditional Linux software.

So, the end state this all points at is: New Windows is mostly a Linux kernel, there's an old-Windows emulation over it, but Edge and the rest of the Windows user-land utilities don't use the emulation. The emulation layer is there for games and other legacy third-party software.
What's Win32/Linux?
Win32/Linux is a Linux kernel with a Windows-compatible userland on top. Built using ideas and components from ReactOS, it allows Win32 applications to exist as a first-class part of the system.
Not emulation as an afterthought — but a different model of what an operating system can be.
Win32/Linux
Windows and GNU/Linux are still moving along different paths. But they may eventually meet at a point called Win32/Linux.

C:\Deb was inspired by the project Loss32, which was expected to launch in January 2026 but never shipped.
This project continues that direction as a working implementation.
